Engagement photography at Brush Creek Park
This is the big reveal of an engagement photography session at Brush Creek Park. I met Kelsie at the wedding consultation. I knew that she was a person I wanted to work with. I did not meet Tom until the day of the engagement shoot. Needless to say I was a little nervous, well really nervous. But, it became clear within the first couple of photographs that they would be featured on the blog.
Little snickers here and smiles there,
and is so much love and romance in this couple.
The teasing that I captured from across the pond,
preparing for the next two shot …
It was turning out to be a beautiful session and it was just the first location, there are two more to go! Next location was the covered bridge, and I presume, Tom’s favorite! Oh, and I forgot to mention, he loves pictures!
By the second location, the two were even more relaxed … I had never experienced the perfect photographic couple until now!
They were willing to pose any way I asked and giggled when I put them in awkward poses. We had a blast, and did I mention their love for one another?
They were so sweet!
It was almost time to head to the final location, and was so glad that they were up for anything. I wanted to kick up the romance a notch, and they were all for it!
A friend of Tom’s had commented that the picture (above right) as “winning!!!”
I couldn’t agree more, never thought about the pose that way, and giggled!
From here we visited our last location …
Had some fun in the field with the blazing sun starting to shine down on us. Thank you shady tree for allowing us to grab a few more great shots!
and, of course, we wrap it up with a pictures that include the ring
… gotta have the ring!
It was a sublime morning with an amazing and beautiful couple. I cannot wait to photograph their special day 04.16.16. Stay tuned in to view their wedding day highlights. I am truly blessed, not only to be photographing this couple, but to have met this couple. They are a true reminder through action of what true love is.
“Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited. It is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people’s sins, but delights in the truth. It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes.”
